How photos fit into a visit

Get the photo release

Make the Photo Release Consent an active form and it goes out at check-in. The patient scrolls through the whole form and signs on their own phone.

2Step 2

Take the before photos

Photos is step two of the visit, right after Review. Upload JPG, PNG or HEIC files up to 10 MB each, and label them Before, After or Progress.

3Step 3

Chart on their face

Use the patient's own photo as the injection map canvas. Dots and units sit on their real face, so the next provider sees where product went.

4Step 4

Dolce AI writes, photos stay out

When you build a campaign, Dolce AI drafts the email or SMS copy for a goal like Win them back. The image upload guards against patient photos, so campaigns use marketing artwork only. You review everything before it sends.

What file types can I upload?

JPG, PNG and HEIC, up to 10 MB per photo. HEIC support means photos from an iPhone go in without converting first.

Where are photos stored?

On the patient record, under the Photos tab. Each photo is labeled Before, After or Progress.

Can I use patient photos in marketing emails?

Dolce's campaign builder guards against it. Images in email can be viewed by anyone with the link, so use marketing artwork only, even when a patient has signed a photo release.

Does Dolce AI put patient photos in my campaigns?

No. Dolce AI writes the words for your email and SMS campaigns, and the image guard keeps patient photos out of campaign images. Your photos stay on the patient record for your team.

How do I collect photo consent?

Use the built-in Photo Release Consent form. Patients read to the end and sign on their own phone, and active forms go out automatically at check-in.

Can I capture photos by scanning a code with my phone?

Right now you upload JPG, PNG or HEIC files to the patient record. QR-code capture from a phone and a before and after comparison slider are coming soon.
