Dolce AI across your practiceAcross your practice

Eight AI workflows, and a person approves each one

Estimates come from the patient and services you pick, and Dolce adds the total. Across the rest of your practice, Dolce AI drafts SOAP notes, patient summaries, forms, review asks and campaign copy, and suggests revenue moves. Your team approves every one.

Notes drafted from the chart

Dolce AI drafts the SOAP note from the treatment and suggests ICD-10 and CPT codes. The provider reviews and signs.

Patients summed up, with reasons

A clinical overview from intake, vitals and history, with suggested services and a Why this recommendation line on each.

Marketing drafted, never sent alone

Dolce AI writes review requests and email or SMS campaign copy, and suggests revenue moves with a why. Nothing goes out until your team sends it.

How it works

How an estimate gets made

1Step 1

Plan it at the consult

The consultation chart records the patient's concerns and goals, the recommended plan, and what was quoted or discussed. That plan tells you which services the estimate should list.

2Step 2

Pick the patient and services

Open Good Faith Estimates in Admin, pick the patient and add the services you expect to provide. Dolce shows the estimated total. Resend the estimate whenever the patient needs another copy.

3Step 3

Check out on treatment day

When the patient comes in, checkout lists the services rendered and the total. Your team can hold that up against the estimate before the patient pays.

What the estimate tool does

Start from the patient

Pick a patient already in your records, so the estimate is tied to the right person.

Add the planned services

Add the services you expect to provide from your service menu.

An estimated total

Dolce adds up the services and shows the estimated total on the estimate.

Resend any time

Resend an estimate whenever the patient asks for another copy. If the plan changes, make a new estimate with the new services.

Made for self-pay patients

Most medspa treatments are cash-pay, and the No Surprises Act estimate rules cover self-pay patients. The estimate lists the services and a total they can plan around.

Found in Admin

Good Faith Estimates sit in Admin under Advanced, next to Memberships, Security and the Audit Log.

Questions about good faith estimates

Ask on a demo
What is a Good Faith Estimate?
It's a written estimate of expected charges. Under the federal No Surprises Act, providers give one to patients who are uninsured or paying for care themselves. This page is general information, so check the details with your own legal advisor.
Do cash-pay medspa patients need one?
Generally, the rules cover patients who are uninsured or choose not to use insurance, which describes most medspa patients. An estimate is usually expected when care is scheduled or when the patient asks for one. Confirm the details for your practice with your own legal advisor.
Is this the medical exam some people also call a GFE?
No. In Dolce, Good Faith Estimate means the No Surprises Act cost estimate. The clinical exam a provider does before treatment is a separate step, and you document it in the patient's chart.
Can I resend an estimate?
Yes. Any estimate can be resent when the patient asks for another copy. If the plan changes, create a new estimate with the updated services.
Does Dolce AI write my Good Faith Estimates?
No. You pick the patient and services, and Dolce adds up the estimated total from your service menu. Dolce AI works elsewhere in your practice, drafting notes, patient summaries, forms and marketing copy for your team to approve.
Does Dolce make my clinic compliant with the No Surprises Act?
No software can do that on its own. Dolce helps you build, total and resend estimates. Your team still decides who gets one, when, and what it must include, so review your process with a legal advisor.
