How a note gets reviewed

1Step 1

The provider signs and submits

The provider reviews the Dolce AI draft, edits it and types their full name under a legal e-signature statement. Dolce logs timestamp, IP address and device and locks the note. Then they submit it for MD review.

2Step 2

Pending notes show up

The MD Review Queue collects every note waiting on sign-off. The Charts menu shows a count, and Up Next on the Today screen lists notes pending review.

3Step 3

Read the whole note

Open the full note with its SOAP sections, suggested ICD-10 and CPT codes and injection map. Everything the provider documented and signed is there to check.

4Step 4

Approve or request changes

Approve the note, or request changes so the provider can correct it. Any correction to a signed note is an amendment, with the reason, time and user on record.

Can a medical director edit a signed note?
No one edits a signed note directly. Changes are made as amendments, each with a required reason, a timestamp and the user who made it. The printed note shows the amendment history.
Does Dolce AI sign or approve notes?
No. Dolce AI drafts the note, and the provider reviews, edits and signs it before it reaches the queue. Approving or requesting changes is your medical director's call.
What does the e-signature record?
The signer types their full name under a legal e-signature statement. Dolce logs the timestamp, IP address and device with the signature.
How does my medical director know notes are waiting?
Submitted notes land in the MD Review Queue, and the medical director is notified. The Charts menu shows a count, and Up Next on the Today screen lists notes pending review.
Which notes need medical director review?
That's your policy, set by your medical director and your state's rules. Providers submit notes for review, and the queue shows everything that's waiting.
